Dear Exiles and Greater Community

You may know honeycrisp from her role as our current Membership Director at
the Exiles, her time spent in DMV, her contributions to the Dirty Minds of
Yuma, or perhaps her triumphant victory in the Queen's Cup race. Regardless
of how you've crossed paths with her, you've undoubtedly experienced her
warm smile and unwavering dedication to our community. honeycrisp has given
so much to those around her, and now she needs our help.

When she was just 15, honeycrisp's life took a challenging turn. She rolled
her ankle while dancing in a Christmas parade with her high school dance
team. Despite the excruciating pain, she finished the parade to avoid
letting her team down. This act of dedication, however, led to the
development of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Over the years,
honeycrisp has battled this condition with ongoing resilience.

Her journey has included numerous surgeries, constant pain, and various
other health issues, from migraines to insomnia, broken bones, and
gallstones. Yet, she managed to graduate from college in under four years
and establish a career in IT. In August and September of 2022, she endured
an 18-day hospitalization, and her health struggles ultimately led to her
losing her job in February.

Despite her best efforts, honeycrisp's application for SSDI is a process
that can take over two years before any financial assistance is received.
Meanwhile, her monthly expenses, including food, housing, and utilities,
total approximately $1,000. That's why we're rallying together to raise
$12,000, ensuring honeycrisp doesn't have to worry about her bills for the
following year.

Please join us in supporting a remarkable community member who has given

living expenses.
