Class description:
Yearning to serve, to please, to give of oneself for the  pleasure of 
another, to belong…  
Where does the desire spring from?  What drives someone to give themselves  
to another?  What are the joys and  frustrations of belonging to someone 
else?  What are the different ways a person can  serve?  How does someone make 
a  decision about whom to serve?  Join  the Sacramento Valley LeatherCorps 
for an incredible journey with four amazing  people who have committed 
themselves to a life of service.   
Participant Bios: 
david  shorey has been actively involved in the  leather community for the 
past eight years.  He is a member of Sacramento Valley  LeatherCorps which 
he has served as an officer on and off for years.  He held the 2002 
Sacramento and Northern California Leatherboy titles and more  recently was 2008 
Northern California Community Bootblack.  He’s taught classes on puppy play and  
spirituality and has been on other panels of submissives, service boys, and 
 slaves. 
boy  Laine is fairly new in the leather scene and is glad to finally be  
exactly where she belongs.  She  identifes as a boy, submissive, and a slave. 
She is a member of the Sacramento  Valley LeatherCorps, the San Francisco 
Exiles, MAsT:  Sacramento, and  San Francisco boys of Leather.  She is also a 
budding boot black.  Boy Laine is truly grateful to be in the  service of 
Daddy Sage, service that she finds deeply fulfilling.  Anticipatory service is 
her  forte. 
Timnah  identifies as a queer, a dyke, a bottom, a majordomo,  a capable 
cub, and her Daddy’s girl.  She has been lucky to learn from and to love 
powerful Tops who have  fostered her discovery of her pride and joy in 
service-oriented submission.  Timnah has served and played in leather  communities for 
the last decade, has been an Exiles Officer for four years, and  is 
currently serving as the Exiles' Orientation Officer. 

boyjean has been involved in his Leather journey for almost 20 years and 
has identified as a boy for as long as he can remember.  he has the privilege 
and honor of serving his Sir/Daddy over the past 10 years and regards 
service as a passion that comes from the heart.  he and his partner are poly and 
have had a rewarding and exciting relationship for more than 25 years.  he is 
a coordinator with Leather Traditions, a group providing educational 
workshops in San Francisco, and a board member of the International Leather 
Sir/boy and International Community Bootblack contests.  he participates with the 
Northern California Bootblacks organization and is a past titleholder as 
Northern California Community Bootblack 2007 and International Community 
Bootblack 2007.
