enjoyed a restful Holiday Season. 2011 looks to be a year of change and
of growth--and the Leather community, with all of its facets, is no
different. I believe that there are many exciting opportunities to be
had in our culture here in the Bay Area this year. And just where do
YOU fit into all of this?
Have you ever wondered just how this
community works? What are the driving forces, both locally and
Nationally, that impact its energy and its definition? Have you ever
wanted to know more about the community you belong to--or want to
belong to? Have you wanted to learn how to become more involved?
On
Tuesday, January 11, I'll be leading a panel discussion "Choosing Your
Path in the Leather Culture." at the Citadel, 1277 Mission Street, San
Francisco. We will have representatives from various parts of the
community to speak of their involvement and their experience. We also
want to make this an interactive discussion, so please bring your
curiosity and your questions for the panelists.

--JOAN NORRY
will be speaking about education, organization, title holders in the
community, and vision. Joan is a National titleholder, and has insights
into the larger community issues that we are a part of here in San
Francisco.
--PATRICK MULCAHEY will be speaking about the D/s aspect
of the community / lifestyle. He will also speak about education,
organization, and his passion for things Leather. Patrick is a prolific
writer, and offers unique insights into the dynamic of Leather family
and community that few others offer.
--LELAND CARINA is an exciting
addition to our community, and she will be speaking about The Next
Generation (tng) of Leatherfolk, as well as the organizational and
educational aspects of the community. Leland is one of the community's
newer additions, and she's full of great ideas and passion.
--And, there will be other surprises for you!!

Whatever
your place in the community, there will be information available that
will help you to make intelligent decisions for yourself and your level
of involvement in the coming year. I hope that you will attend this
most informative discussion. The discussion will begin at 8 p.m.
Donation is $20, and proceeds will be sent to Leather Leadership
Conference, Inc. Should you have any questions, please feel free to
contact me. Please share this message with friends and groups which you
