*Join us this month at QWOCMAP and Sac Pride!*

Did you know that The Exiles has been a community partner with QWOCMAP for
14 years!  Don’t know what that means?  Let us fill you in!

Every year, The Exiles becomes a sponsor (community partner) with QWOCMAP
to support the arts and exploration of queer films.  This year, with our
monetary contribution, QWOCMAP has paired The Exiles with the film
screening titled “Such is Taking a Bath” by Aliyah Curry.  “Such is Taking
a Bath” is an intimate exploration of the senses that nourishes a Black
lesbian couple’s budding relationship.  Aliyah Curry, the writer and
filmmaker,  focuses on Black female sexuality and mental health.

You can watch the live screening of this film on Saturday, June 10th at 8
PM at Presidio Theatre!  You’ll even see a few Exiles members there!


And then on Sunday, June 11th, some members of the Exiles will be at the
Leather tent at Sacramento Pride sharing information about our
organization. Let us know if you'd like to join us there! The more the
merrier!
