I just heard from Bob. The resolution for the Leather and LGBTQ Cultural District passed, and now goes to the full Board of Supervisors on May 1 and May 8.

Leather and LGBTQ Cultural District

Hearing of the Land Use Committee 
of the S.F. Board of Supervisors 

You helped us write it....  you voted to approve it...  and now we need your help to make it law! 

The Resolution to create a new Leather and LGBTQ Cultural District in the South of Market neighborhood of San Francisco will go before the Land Use Committee of the S.F. Board of Supervisors at a hearing on: 

Monday, April 23

1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

in Room 250 of San Francisco City Hall

We need a big turnout for this hearing, please come to support the creation of this district! 

Everyone who shows up will have the opportunity to speak before the Committee, which includes San Francisco Supervisors Katy Tang, Jane Kim and Ahsha Safai.  If the Supervisors on the Land Use Committee vote for the resolution, it will then proceed to a vote at the full Board of Supervisors the following week. 

Wear your leather if you can!

The more we appear as a visibly cohesive group, the better!

The hearing starts at 1:30 p.m.; we are #2 on the agenda, so please plan to arrive on time, and stay as long as necessary.
