[Exiles Members] Officer Election Results and Other News

The annual elections were held during March, and completed at our March program last week. We are proud to announce the election of the following officers:

Congratulations to everyone and we look forward to your work in the coming year. Thanks to everyone that voted; your participation in the club is appreciated.

Remember, at the April business meeting we will fill the following appointed officer positions:
Newsletter Editor
PR Officer
Orientation Officer
Doorkeeper
Sergeant-at-Arms
Web Site Manager
Volunteer Coordinator
Anyone who has been a member for a year or has qualified to be a voting member at business meetings, is eligible to fill any appointed officer position. If you are interested, please let us know by emailing the cocos (cocos at theexiles.org) or come to the April business meeting. The meeting will be on Sunday, April 2 from 5-7pm at Oakstop, 1721 Broadway in Oakland. Members are always welcome at business meetings.

The April program meeting should really be an interesting one. Ms Cat will be leading a panel discussion on "What does Leather Mean to You: Leather Women of Yesterday and Today". Come and hear leaders and long-time members of the leather women's community discuss this hot topic, plus we hear there will also be a very hot demo. In addition, as a one time program special, any member that brings a non-member, gets into the program for FREE.  Also note that the program will be on April 28th, the FOURTH Friday (instead of the normal third Friday), so as not to conflict with IMsL weekend.
