[ExilesAnnounce] Fwd: Volunteer at SF Pride!!

Thanks for putting out the call. 

What does anyone think of this idea? Putting a call out to all members and friends to hang out at the booth. 

In the past we have had lots of members come by and hang out at the booth, they just drop by and chat, and at the same time provide "critical mass". 

This year, with the theme of "leather community hangout", I expect you will see plenty of these "drive by" member visitors. Why not encourage them, put a call out to all our  members to come and visit the booth? That will provide critical mass; I expect people might want somewhere to hang out. And without even really seeming to volunteer, I think ordinary members can be helpful: when interested folks drop by the booth, they can join casual conversations with any of the members who are hanging out. 

So my suggestion is that we put out a call to all our members and Facebook/Fetlife friends to visit our booth. 

Thoughts? Good or bad idea?
