My 74 yo mom (you may have seen her ‘Proud Mom’ sign in the SF Pride Parade with the SF Dykes on Bikes Women's Motorcycle Contingent) is once again participating in the Relay for Life as an almost 12 year colon cancer survivor. She had to have a colostomy. In addition to being a colon cancer survivor, my mom was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease almost 2 years ago, and is losing her mobility and can no longer get onto my motorcycle. My mom is determined to make it at least one lap around the track during the Relay for Life event in Rio Vista, CA. May 15.
My mom and I know times are tough (she lives on Social Security!) and we would appreciate the donation of any amount.
