[ExilesAnnounce] Some Sad news

Hello all,

 

It is with a very sad heart that I need to let you all know that one of our
community has passed over.

 

Carla and Marlena, a lovely couple from the South Bay, came up to the City
to attend The Exiles Munch last night at Wicked Grounds. While in the
process of helping to move the tables around, Marlena fell to the ground in
an apparent heart attack. The paramedics were called and after 30 minutes of
CPR, they took her off to SF General Trauma Center. She never did come back.

 

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Carla, her family and to Marlena's family
for this terrible loss.

 

I met these wonderful women a number of years ago and over several months
got to know them a bit. They were truly committed to the community and loved
us all.

 

We will be taking a moment of silence at our monthly program in honor of
Marlena and if anyone wants to say a words, please let us know.

 

I am sorry I have to bring such sad news to us all.
