Below is the announcement about Bacchanalia, coming up on Saturday, May 30, at EDGES in the South Bay. We hope you can join us for this decadent event!

Please also note that in the afternoon before the party, we'll be holding an Exiles New Member Orientation at EDGES. So if you have friends in the South Bay who may be interested in joining but haven't been able to make the orientations in Oakland or San Francisco, please be sure to send them this info!

This year’s
Bacchanalia is an afternoon-into-night extravaganza of kink, fun, food, play,
and socialization!  Greco-Roman
Bacchanalias were decadent, debaucherous events, and we will be doing our best
to honor that tradition.


The Exiles
are kicking off the day with our FIRST EVER South Bay orientation.  Join us for:  BDSM Safety from Top to Bottom.  Attending this fun, skit-based orientation qualifies one for membership
in the Exiles. (Membership is not required to attend the other Bacchanalia events, but membership does have privileges, so check it out!  www.theexiles.org/membership.html)

Then, we
will be hosting three half-hour mini-classes.  These are designed to give people some pointers just before the party!  Planned topics include Play Piercing, Creating
Successful Online Profiles, and Hand Work.

Before the
party, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., there will be an on-site catered buffet-style
dinner.  This will include Chicken with
Whole Grain Stuffing, Vegetable Crepes, Gingered Carrots, Boulanger Potatoes,
Salad, and Coffee or Tea.  This is sure
to be a delicious way to start the evening!

Then there
will be open play using the facilities of EDGES.  Bring your toys!  Bring your bottoms!  Bring your tops!  Decadent snacks will be available through the
night.  This party is the place to be on
May 30th!

Note: This event is open to women and those whose gender
self-identification is other than male, are over the age of 18, and who have a
positive personal interest in BDSM between women.
