March with One Struggle, One Fight!

One Struggle, One Fight
invites you to join our contingent of grassroots activists at Pride 2009 as
we march for justice and equality! We will be marching along with
March for Equality and Yes on Equality in the Stonewall 2.0 Contingent in
the first part of the parade.
OSOF formed in November
2008 after the passage of Prop 8. We seek to empower activists and our
community by organizing from the grassroots up. We believe that our
struggle for LGBT equality and civil rights is part of a larger struggle
for peace and for social justice. This is a Movement of Movements, because
we have incredible power when we stand up for and with each
other.
Since then we have been
busy organizing three acts of civil disobedience, including a Decision Day
blockade of Grove and Van Ness. We marched to Sacramento from San
Francisco to connect with local communities. We are working with the Get
Engaged Tour, rallying to raise awareness among homeless LGBT youth and
more. If this is your kind of activism, please join us as part of
Stonewall 2.0 in Pride 2009!
If you're unable to
march with us, please find us at the Marriage Pavilion in the
heart of Civic Center plaza at the Pride Celebration site on Saturday or
Sunday of Pride weekend.

Building Community Through Pride: Two Ways to Support our
Beneficiaries

Donate the minimum
request of $5 at the entrance gates of the SF Pride Celebration to earn
yourself a dollar discount off beverage purchases for that day of the
event.
Not only is your donation
going to help the more than 35 local
non-profit organizations staffing the gates, but a portion of your
beverage purchase also helps support another 30-plus non-profits
working the beverage booths.
Your support is vital not
only in helping to keep San Francisco Pride free and open to people of all
economic backgrounds, but your donation also helps strengthen community
organizations working on issues related to the LGBT community, breast
cancer, and HIV/AIDS.

Which is why this year we
will be collecting donations along the Parade route in support of our
community partners.
Please consider giving
generously to any one of the volunteers who will be collecting donations
in buckets along the Parade route.
