[ExilesMembers] Orientation Needs YOU!

Hi there! 

The Orientation Committee, dormant since last summer, is having a new meeting, and hopefully re-establishing itself. 

We will have a casual potluck meeting (OK if you can't bring anything, too) at my house on Wednesday, January
 14th, from 6:30-8pm. 


The New Member Orientation is a team
effort by interested Exiles members, and one of the first ways many of
us experienced the Exiles. 

If you would like to add to
Orientation, help revise the script, volunteer, play a role, or
otherwise have a voice in either planning or executing the
Orientations, I hope you will come and meet with other like-minded
Exiles members. If you just have an opinion, and don't want to do
anything, that's ok too -- I think our orientation should reflect the
breadth of our membership as well as possible. 


Current agenda items include: script revisions & our volunteer pool. If you have other agenda items, let me know.

When you rsvp to me, I'll send you my home address.

Hope you can come join us in making our New Member Safety Orientation as useful and welcoming as possible.

Next New Member Orientation:
Friday February 6th, 2009, 7:30-9:30pm
Femina Potens, 2199 Market Street (at Sanchez Street), San Francisco


Femina Potens is wheelchair accessible, however the single
gender-neutral bathroom is not. We apologize for any inconvenience that
this may cause.

The MUNI METRO LINES
J,K,L,M,N, the F MUNI STREETCAR LINE, or MUNI BUS LINES 6, 7, 9, 10,
14, 21, 26, 47, 49, 66 and 71 all run within a few blocks of Femina
Potens - many run within 1 block. Also, take BART (exit at SF Civic
Center), then transfer to Muni metro (exit at Church Street) or F Muni streetcar line (exit at Church Street).
