A Call for Submission for Exhibition Art Show for: Leather Leadership Conference 12Submissions due now through Thursday, April 10, 2008.At the Golden Gateway Holiday Inn, 1500 Van Ness at Pine, San Francisco, CaliforniaThis Year’s Leather Leadership Conference 12 will feature an Art Exhibition; the theme: AROUSE.This is a call to artists to grace us with their impressions that will inspire and strengthen the SM/Leather/Fetish community.We seek artwork that is: Sexy, Inspiring, Involving, Igniting, Evolving, Edgy and Fun. All mediums considered.This is an opportunity to showcase inspirational art to be privately viewed by this year’s Leather Leadership Conference 12 attendees. Everyone is encouraged to submit (so to speak) so that we may reflect the many lush facets of our diverse community.Submissions must be sent digitally, (attach images, 72 dpi or website url so we can categorize) to Maxine Doogan at maxinedoogan at mindspring.com as soon as possible, as space is limited.Please include dimensions and medium. Sexually explicit material will be fine since our area will be off-limits to non-conference attendees. Art will not be sold by this conference but contact information can be displayed and artist statements are encouraged but optional.Accommodations are such that all art must be displayed on easels or other independent structures artist must provide. Sculptures with accompanied pedestals a plus but not a must. Drop off and pick up days and times to be negotiated.Also being displayed at this year’s conference, the Leather Tribal Quilt (www.leatherquilt.com)and 'poster sessions' which will include Folsom Street Events, Leather Archive & Museum, the National LLC Organization, CineKink and others.We hope you can join us.Please forward this email to people who may be interested in submitting their artwork!Reminder: Send submissions to Maxine Doogan at maxinedoogan at mindspring.com.
